Lots of hammering goes into this particular sculpture.
The entire rose is made from one solid piece of Rail Road Spike.
I was commissioned to make one of these for a woman who’s father was retiring from working on the Rail Road. It was my pleasure to forge a sentimental sculpture for her to give her father.
