I’ve even commissioned knife maker Jerry Hobbs to hammer forge one from my own design. You can read more about that journey by clicking HERE.

If you couldn’t tell, my creation is the one on the bottom with the red handle.  It’s made from a farrier rasp.

It’s fun to re-create eating utensils from centuries ago.

I’m teaching a fork and spoon class in a couple weeks at the newly founded Pine to Prairie Folk School, so I’m doing my due diligence and making a bunch to get my technique down.
